Privacy Policy

Last updated: Oct 7, 2026

This privacy policy explains what information is processed when you use the website at download.xkare.com (SoftHub).

Data controller

• Company SoftHub

What information we process

• Server logs: When you visit the site, our web server briefly records technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the page visited and the date and time. This is used to keep the site secure and to fix technical problems.
• Download counter: To count how often a program is downloaded, your IP address is irreversibly hashed. This hash is kept for no more than 3 days to prevent the same download from being counted twice in one day, and is then deleted. Your actual IP address is not stored for this purpose.
• Preferences stored in your browser: Your dark/light theme choice and whether you dismissed the language suggestion bar are stored only in your own browser (localStorage) and are never sent to us.
• Email contact: If you email us, we use your name, email address and message only to answer your request.

Cookies

Our site does not need cookies to work. If we use third-party services for visitor statistics or advertising, their cookies and consent options will be described separately.

Third-party links

Most download links take you to the developer’s official website or server. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and recommend reading their own privacy policies.

Sharing of data

We do not sell your personal data or share it with third parties for marketing. Data may only be disclosed to competent authorities where required by law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, applicable law — such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) — gives you the right to:

• Access your data
• Request correction or deletion
• Object to processing
• Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority

Children’s privacy

Our site does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page.
